Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at Ali's parents house in King Hill. It was so beautiful out there and we had a great time!

Pink Fishing Pole

A few weeks ago we went out on Avery's 1st fishing trip. Well, her 1st fishing trip that she was actually fishing. After fishing with Uncle Zak and papa she really wanted a pink fishing pole. We found one and Avery was thrilled to have her very own fishing pole.
We had a great time and got lots of bites but no fish. Maybe next time!

Halloween!

This year Avery decided to be a ladybug for Halloween. We went trick-or-treating downtown on Friday and had a great time the next day dressing up for the Homecoming parade, but unfortunetly Avery got sick and we had to stay home on Halloween night. We watched Monster's vs. Aliens instead and Avery loved it.

I asked her to show me all her candy.

 Ladybug wings.

Jack-O-Lantern that papa and Avery carved. Avery
only wanted a "happy pumpkin".

Steelhead Fishing

A few weeks ago we went Steelhead fishing with Uncle Zak. Avery had so much fun and wanted her own pink fishing pole. Only one fish was caught and it was Uncle Zak's first Steelhead!

Fall Harvest Festival

This weekend we went out to our local Fall Harvest Pary. We had a great time. There was tons of things for Avery to enjoy. We went on a hayride, listened to great music, met lots of animals, jumped in the bouncy house as much as possible, won a cupcake at the cakewalk, picked out some great pumpkins, nagigated our way through a hay maze, and got a bunch of other great prizes from all the activities. The weather was cold but so beautiful. Check out the pictures below:

Scary teeth she won. They were a little big for her :)

Fall Has Arrived

It is back to shoes and sweater weather here in the Northwest. We finally had to put our summer clothes and flip flops away. I always have a hard time parting with my flip flops. I would wear them over shoes anyday, but on to another season.
I took a few quick shots of Avery this morning and thought I would include them below. She is wearing a sweater that I wore when I was her age. It is still in great shape (thanks mom!) and keeps Avery warm on these cool Fall days. I don't know how much longer it will fit her though. She has been going through a growth spurt and seems to be growing out of her clothing daily.
Enjoy the pictures and the beautiful fall weather!

Lower Salmon River Trip

Back in August, Eric, Avery, and I (and doggies) set out on a 4 day Lower. We had so much fun! The weather was beautiful and we did not see a single person out there until the afternoon of day 3. Amazing! It was truly wonderful.
Here are some pictures from our trip:

Not the greatest photo of me, but I think it is the only one that
I'm actually in so I thought I would inclu
