Snow Day Fun

Well, Eric had another snow day this past Thursday after it snowed 6 inches (it was number 8 this year!). We stayed warm by playing inside and baking cookies. Though we love the snow, we are getting ready for spring! It has been a very long winter and we are ready to wear shorts and flip flops!
Here are a few pictures from the snow day:

This little kitty came in Avery's Lego set and she LOVES it!
She plays with it all the time (she is way into kitties).

Laundry Day

Yesterday afternoon, I had a ton of folding to do as we got caught up on our laundry. I set some of the laundry on the couch while I went to put more clothes in the dryer. When I returned to the living room, this is what I found:

Little Avery buried herself in the laundry! It was so cute. She even stayed in this exact position while I went to get the camera. We were laughing and having a great time folding laundry!

Legos

Avery LOVES playing with Legos. She dumps the bucket of Legos out and then she spends a long time stacking them and then knocks them over and puts them away. Once they are all put away, she starts this process all over again. She has so much fun doing this...

New Camera!!!

We decided to just go for it and buy a new camera. We LOVE it! It is SO much nicer than our old camera. We are still trying to learn how to use it because it is a lot more complex than our last camera. Here are some shots that we took of Avery...

"Grand Canyon Adventure"

MacGillivray Freeman's new IMAX film, Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk, is opening this month! My little brother, Zak, and other OARS guides/friends were on this trip and may be seen on the film. Here is the description from MacGillivray Freeman's website:
"Grand Canyon Adventure will take IMAX Theatre audiences on an exhilarating river-rafting adventure down the Colorado River in the company of a team of explorers who are committed to bringing awareness to global water issues... As the expedition journeys down river, audiences will learn about the challenges we face and the many opportunities that exist for conserving and restoring our watersheds. There is much to be done if future generations are going to look back at this moment, not as a time of crisis, but as the turning point, when we became true stewards of the water planet we all share. We can all play a part. Combining science and adventure with some of giant screen cinema’s most compelling imagery and locations,Grand Canyon Adventure delivers a message of hope and inspiration for all people of the world".
